There have been stories through the ages about ghosts and apparitions of dead people who appeared to the living.

Ghosts are spirits of dead people. Some are our loved ones who have died, while others are tormented souls seeking justice or help. Ghosts usually mean no harm to the living.

Poltergeists on the other hand are a different sort of entity. Some are nonentities whose interactions can range from cold drafts, foul smells, odd sounds and sometimes they inflict physical abuse upon the living.
