Thomas Bradley is an innocent victim. He was a healthy young man who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. He was visiting the stepdaughter of a Texas millionaire and drank juice from the refrigerator at the ranch. Almost immediately after drinking the juice, he became seriously ill from arsenic poisoning. Although he survived and lived to tell about it, his life would change forever more.
Thomas Bradley |
In 1990, Thomas was nineteen years old. He lived in
Boonville, Missouri, but took a job in Wichita Falls, Texas, for the summer. The innocent gesture of drinking a glass of juice almost cost him his life. His throat burned immediately after drinking the juice. Within a few minutes, he became violently ill, with nausea, vomiting and severe diarrhea. One lasting side effect he initially suffered from the arsenic poison was shingles. No one knows the long term lasting effects Thomas Bradley may suffer during the course of his life-time.
Arsenic is a heavy metal and cannot be broken down, it remains in the body.
What is known is that the innocent victim will continue to suffer the rest of his life from the lasting effects of arsenic.

Was the intended victim the stepdaughter, or did she poison the juice??
ReplyDeleteHI GRAN, The intended victim was the Texas millionaire Jerry Sternadel. Jerry's wife and bookkeeper are the ones who poisoned the juice. The juice was in the refrigerator and meant only for Jerry Sternadel to drink.
ReplyDeleteThe boy was thirsty and Jerry Sternadel's stepdaughter told him to help himself to whatever was in the refrigerator. The tainted CranApple juice was the only juice in the refrigerator. We do not believe the stepdaughter knew the juice was loaded with arsenic. No one in the household liked cranapple juice, but Jerry Sternadel.
Oh my gosh. so that's how they did it.
